Here she is. The long awaited Boss Babe morning routine for all my hard working bad asses out there. My boss ethic is to get the most annoying part of my day done and dusted before midday. Despite being a total night owl, I persist and push til I achieve. Let’s get straight into the routine because boss babes have no time to waste.

BOSS BABE MORNING ROUTINE
I THE NIGHT BEFORE
Of course. Planning tomorrow is essential. We all like to say living in the present is important and it is. But no one said don’t plan. Planning is crucial. I want to make success simple and effortless. There are a few things everyone needs to implement.
DRESS YOURSELF AND YOUR ENVIRONMENT
I’m a strong advocate for dressing for the occasion. You would not go to work wearing track pants, so don’t go to your own work parade in track pants! Wear something nice, comfortable and stylish that expresses you. You will feel the difference when you realise you’re at your desk generating money rather than watching Netflix re-runs.
Another must is to fill up a huge bottle of water. If you take vitamins then place them right next to your bottle. Start the day off right with no distractions. Place your journal and planner on your desk. Charge up all your electronics. Think of anything else that makes tomorrow seamless and do it.
CREATE A SIMPLE SCHEDULE
Focus on finalising the hardest tasks in the morning. Keep yourself accountable. I’ve spoken about this before, but planners are life changers. Bringing structure to your day you will find your productivity sky rockets. I use and recommended the Best Self Journal, always and forever. Utilise your inbuilt calendars and sync events to your phone to always stay on top of things. Thanks to my handy-dandy Best Self Journal I am prepared for 6 months of blog posts. An investment WELL WORTH making.
II WAKE UP AND MAKE THE BED
Of course, it’s time to make your bed. Hop on out of bed as early as you can. 5:00 AM is great. No distractions. No errands. Meditate a little. Yoga is great too. Smile whilst making your bed. Tidiness is crucial for us boss babes who are more often than not working from home.
III CARPE DIEM
Challenge yourself to work for 2 whole hours straight without interruption. I don’t rush myself, but I stay clear of any form of procrastination. Don’t touch social media, loud music (unless that works for you) or TV. Quick suggestion: Listen to binaural beats. Works a charm.
III FUEL YOUR BRAIN
So you’ve worked a couple of hours. It’s probably 8 AM and you’re hungry as F. Me too. I usually cook up a nice, big breakfast. A large plate of scrambled tofu or avocado toast. Blend some frozen bananas, cacao, a date and soy milk and you’ve got perfection with a straw. Your brain thrives on Glucose. Feed it the carbs and nutrients it so desperately loves.
IV SELF CARE
Simple things count. Apply some SPF before you head out and run some errands. Take a bath when you’re stressed. You. Don’t. Have. To. Be. Working. Every. Waking. Second. Your schedule should include breaks and downtime. I don’t care how much you love your work. Please, take breaks. Take time to let your mind just sit and do nothing. It’s healthy.
